About Us
Child Health Research Department was established in June 2022. The Department is engaged in research on various aspects of newborns (sickle cell disease, population-based birth defect surveillance) and Child health (Latent TB infection, undernutrition and precocious puberty).
The department also conducts various capacity building programs at Anganwadis, Schools, Health posts and CME for Registered Medical Practitioners. The department has also developed IEC materials on nutrition, Sickle cell disease, birth defect and puberty.
