The Institute is a DHR-designated Health Technology Assessment hub. It has been offering its services not only to the Maharashtra government but also to the governments of Madhya Pradesh and Goa. ICMR-NIRWoH is also an active ally to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and supports its activities as a Collaborating Centre.
